Edge on the Square


Created a brand identity for ‘Edge on the Square’, a newly minted arts and media instition based in San Francisco’s chinatown. The symbol — a minimal, stylized picture frame consisting of two geometric arrows — is highly readable yet distinctive and evocative. Paired with an expressive wordmark set in ‘Plage’ by Korean typeface designer Bouk Ra as well as a bright and energetic color palette, the system is bold, idiosyncratic, and expansive. Designed in collaboration with Chen Design.
